The grand Versailles Masked Ball

In the 1682 Louis the XIV moved the Royal Court to the Palace of Versailles with him. Since then, not only the palace became the residence of the Kings of France, but also the place where the most elegant and craziest parties were held.
The SunKing himself was a great dancer and he once said: “Dancing is a fantastic tool of power which allows a person to prove his capacity of control over his body and soul”.

Every year in June the Chateau de Versailles organise The Grand Masked Ball!
Don’t miss the chance to be part of the King’s Royal Court.
Protected behind your mask, dressed with a fine Baroque-style costume and a glass of champagne in hand, you are going to indulge into the Royal Gardens of Versailles surrounded by a unique atmosphere, and at midnight... Fireworks!
To conclude don’t miss the party until dawn at the elegant Orangerie of the Royal Gardens! A special night to remember forever.

Tips:

On arrival make sure to be dressed in a quality baroque costume. Your face must be masked on arrival and during all the duration of the party
If you are looking for a costume to wear for the event, be aware some shops offer a discount if you show to them your ticket for the event
